This friendly, warmhearted hospitable family provide an excellent and welcoming place to stay in their beautiful home situated in a very pleasant residential area just 10 minutes or so by car to the centre of town. Accommodaton is extremely clean and comfortable and the plentiful home cooked meals are delicious. Shveta and Kul's knowledge, help and advice ensured we made the most of our time here. We had a wonderful time.

I stayed at Jaipur Homestay in Jaipur for one week while I was on business there. The B&B is a new venture for husband and wife team Kul and Shveta. They have opened their home (rather like a small palace by Indian standards) to travellers and I was one of their first visitors. They are friendly and helpfull and a joy to have a chat with. B & B's are becoming quite the thing in India, which is great for tourists. You get to stay within a family environment and see the culture from the inside. I found the photos on this site to be very representative of the house...I say that because some look ok on the site and are not so good in reality. Remember that this is India...it is filthy everywhere! Jaipur Homestay was a sanctuary away from that. Only 10-15 mins by taxi to town (about 100-150INR). My room had a lovely view of the park..where children were playing instead of begging in the street, nice to come home to after a day in the bazaars. Their house has central cooling and a maid to cook ( the meals are very yummy by the way) and clean for you! India is such an extreme place to be and Kul and Shveta try sincerely to inform and accomodate you in every way. I will definately stay here again!

We were greeted by a friendly welcome at the train station which lasted throughout our stay. A lovely comfortable setting with excellent facilities. Kul and Shveta our hosts were so hospitable that within hours of our arrival we felt at home with old friends. Not only did they take the time to give us advice about local activities they were happy to spend time with us chatting about various aspects of Indian life and they went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable. The food was delicious and we were treated to a variety of home made local dishes. This is an ideal location for either a family/smallgroup/couple or single traveller to stay and I would recommend it with no hesitation.

It was a wonderful home away from home experience we had at Jaipur Homestay. I traveled with my spouse, sister, her baby and my parents. We had decided to not stay at a hotel because of the inflexibilities that come along with staying at a hotel, esp when one is traveling with a baby.

We made a booking at Jaipur Homestay at a very short notice. We were delighted with the hospitality, enthusiasm and passion of the family we stayed with. It felt as if we knew them since long. The house was kept very well, immaculately and aesthetically done up. For hygiene freaks like me, it was difficult to be critical of the standards maintained. The rooms were well furnished and equipped with all daily use gadgetry

The meals were freshly cooked, elaborate and sumptuous.

The host and hostess were warm, welcoming and ever ready to help us with queries regarding Jaipur and the things we could have done. Their experience was helpful in making right decisions with regard to sightseeing and also shopping.

I along with my family look forward to making trips to Jaipur, having found a home away from home.
